Norwayne Alumni and friends, Inc. was founded in 1972 by graduates of Norwayne High School, from classes 1959 through 1970. When the school closed, the graduates united in hope of providing scholarships to students in the area. Norwayne Alumni and Friends is a community based and focused organization; dedicated to supporting and assisting students primarily in the Northern Wayne area in their pursuit of higher education. To date we are proud to have provided funding for approximately over 500 student scholarships.

Norwayne Alumni and Friends, Inc. is a non-profit organization. The purpose of the organization is to foster, maintain and support a mutually beneficial relationship between the organization and society. We believe in the power of education to transform and influence lives and society. We are committed to building relations through a sense of camaraderie between our members and the community, as a whole.

The objective of Norwayne Alumni and Friends, Inc, is to maintain financial stability through continuous growth of membership and donations to fund scholarships, support community involvement and promote the life and legacy of the organization.
